Wedding photography that prioritizes how you experience your day—not just what the photos look like after
I’m Alyssa, and I became a photographer solely because of my love for documentary photography.
To me, it’s all about telling true stories in a way that honors the moment and showcases the beauty in it.
Your wedding is a day you should experience fully, knowing the memories will be preserved with care, openness, and love by a photographer who cares about your experience as much as the photographs.

What if your wedding day didn’t feel like a production at all, but instead felt like the most present, meaningful day you’ve ever experienced?
No performing.
No constant awareness of a camera.
Just a wedding experience where you get to actually be there. In your body, in your emotions, in the significance of what’s happening—while everything unfolds naturally around you.
That’s what I protect in the way I document weddings.
I’m not there to direct your day or interrupt what’s happening.
I’m there to quietly witness it as it unfolds so you can stay inside of it, and have your photos tell that story.
The result is a gallery of beautiful, timeless, and honest photographs of your favorite people and best memories.
We’ll get along great if any of these sentiments resonate:
“I don’t want a bunch of dull, posed photos. I want to look back at my wedding photos and feel like I am back there!”
“Our hope is to focus on candid photos and truly capture the day - ugly cries, cheeky grins, wrinkles and all.”
“Amongst all of the typical wedding day craziness I want to be able to be present and take the time to appreciate the moment.”
My goal is that years from now, when you look back at the photos from your wedding day, it won’t just feel like a story I told for you.
It will feel like a story you truly lived.
This is your permission slip to do your wedding your way.
Your only job is to be there, get married, and enjoy your day.
I’ll take care of the rest.
