I’m Alyssa Sorenson, a destination wedding photographer based in park city, utah. I’m passionate about capturing the full, true story of a wedding day without sacrificing aesthetics.

I fell in love with documentary photography while earning my BFA, and I’ve been photographing weddings full time since 2015.

I’m highly empathetic, deeply feeling, and enthusiastic (an ENFP—if you know, you know). I work best with couples who value presence AND want beautiful, honest images that capture the true essence of their day.

i love the imperfection and honesty of documentary photography, and the aesthetics of fine art photography. so naturally, I always strive to include both in my work.

i shoot on intuition. i listen for moments and look for the human element. I notice flowers catching the light, and your grandmother deep in thought. i tell stories as they unfold, without making you perform for my camera. i want to blend in with your people and to be a part of the moment so i can show you exactly what it was like to be there— through every moment.
